Beaches in the area
- Torre del Mar: the beach is on the promenade, has dark sand (with small pebbles) and moderate waves. The family beach is 40 meters wide over a length of about 2 km and there are many beach bars/ chiringuitos. Tip: rent beach beds at beach tent Jazba or Berebere.
- El Morche (towards Torrox Costa): Sandy beach.
- Burriana beach (near Nerja) is the largest beach near Nerja with fine sand and water activities.
- Algarrobo Costa: Not touristy and some beach bars. Sand with gravel/ stones. Tip: Rent a beach bed at beach tent Baobab.
- La Herradura (towards Motril): small pebble in nice bay.
